.....

Time to update the blog. Witnessed my two fellow graduate mates wedding at a chapel on Sunday afternoon. Afterwhich we went to the chinese restaurant for dinner as the same giving well-wishes to one of the senior who has completed his Phd and will be leaving for US for a job in Michigan, Ann Habor. I wonder if my turn will come and if I can get a job even if I got my degree.

I have been making some soup for meals but the result is not very satisfying. I will try it out tomorrow again. Nothing much for this month but am expecting the next one to get somewhat busy as the term will start then.

Minesweeper

Been playing this game quite frequently for the past few weeks. My best times are as below

Beginner : 4 seconds
Intermediate : 37 seconds
Expert : 149 seconds

I search on the web and found out that the world record times are half of my time (in the case of expert, it was like one-third of mine). I wonder how these people can think and click so fast. Not human :P

The journey resumes...

Back in Canada for almost a week. More or less recovered from the jet-lag. It seem that I have been too idle in Singapore, now having to pick up on my Mathematical sharpness. Met a lecturer yesterday and as usual, my horizon broadened ater the chat. Many many more things to learn and explore...

Received a red bomb a few days ago. Two of my fellow coursemates are tying the knots with each other in the mid-August. Congrats to the couple!
