Will be having dinner at a friend's house. May be getting some wine to toast off the new year.

Busy enjoying

Haven't been doing much reading these past few days. Had dinner at a friend's house during X'mas eve, at the same time celebrating for two friends who got job offers. Before that, was spending the morning looking for Christmas gift for gf. Went shopping with gf and her friend on Boxing day. Yesterday went for karaok with gf and some other friends of hers. Tiring but enjoyable stuff.

CMS meeting

Tomorrow will be the last day of CMS meeting. In case you don't know, CMS stands for Canadian Math Society. The meeting lasted three days (starting on Saturday) and was held in London, Ontario (that means in Canada not UK). Met some people and get to talk to them. One of these days, I must try to learn one or two things on modular curves and forms. This area seems to have very imtimate relationship to the things I am looking at. But then that's matters in the future. Now I am just looking forward to tomorrow talks.

Ok I admit. I am also looking forward to returning Hamilton, where that person is now.

29 years and one day old

Just celebrate my birthday. This birthday is a bit different from the rest. Thanks to that special person who had entered my world. My wish is the same as yours. We may not know what lies ahead in the future but I hope the days we are together will always be filled with joy and laughter.
