Some experiences
The past week had been much the usual, other than that I played soccer for two consecutive evenings. Well it is a "good" experience. Now I know it is not a wise move and I will never do that again.
Met up with the Prof on Friday morning and discuss some Iwasawa theory. It appears that I am still bit slow in understanding some of the concepts, especially when the explanations given are like "it follows easily..." or "clearly..." Seem like I still got to improve when it comes to my mathematical maturity and sharpness.
I had found that preparing meals is a chore but it is something unavoidable, since this is the most cost effective option. Luckily, my living place has a micro-oven. That suits a lazy person like me, so I can cook my meat with the oven. As for cooking rice, I am still trying to learn how to ensure that the amount of water put is the correct amount. I don't have a rice cooker, so I cook my rice in a pot. Unlike a rice cooker, a pot does not have an indication of the amount of water required and I am very poor at estimating... Just when you thinking the cooking part is a chore, there is still the cleaning! The hardest part to cleaning I guess is the pot that is used to cook the rice. Trying to get rid of the rice that sticks on the pot is a tedious process.
Finally, I was listening to the song 原來 by JJ Lim. It is a nice song. I recommend to anyone who likes slow tempo love songs.

Its good to learn how to cook, as for your washing, i suggest a good scrubber like a hard sponge. Alternatively, you might be adding too little water , or your heating is too long. Either way causes the rice to stick to the pot.

Hello, this is your gd fren here. To clean your pot, soak it in water for 5 mins. This will soften the sticky rice at the bottom. Then just use the normal scrubber to scrub.
As for the amt of water for rice, using a cup as a measurement, if u use one cup of rice, slightly more than one cup of water should suffice, say around 1.2 cup. No need to be accurate lah, somewhere there can already. Hope it helps.
